My neighbor girls sold these cookies at a lemonade/treat stand and they were so good!
Chocolate Chip Cookies
2/3 cup shortening (use butter flavored)
2/3 cup butter (do not use margarine)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
Mix together, then add:
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Heat oven to 375 and bake 8 - 10 minutes.
